In October, the AOH holds their Annual “Souperbowl” supported by the Ladies AOH of the Ethel Kennedy Division. The event includes all-you-can-eat soup and bread donated by over 40 local restaurants and bakeries. Irish entertainment and step dancers round out the day for over 1,200 in attendance. Income from the event supports both the Capuchin Soup Kitchen and the Fr. Solanus Guild.

The recently-formed AOH of Bergen Countly took Fr. Solanus as their patron. We congratulate them and wish them well with blessings for success. They took part in the 2nd Annual Polar Bear Plunge for charity. With snow on the ground in January, these guys took a dip in the ocean and generated over $5,000 toward an education trust fund for a local family in northern New Jersey. www.aohbergen.com
