Embracing the Sultan: Both Within and Without

Please join the Tap Into Life Young Adult Group, ages 18-39, at the Solanus Casey Center for our October gathering where we’ll be hosting an event in honor of this month’s Feast of St. Francis called, “Embracing the Sultan: Both Within and Without”.
This talk is inspired by the transforming encounter of St. Francis of Assisi with Sultan Al-Kamil of Egypt. Br. Julius Milton from the Capuchin Retreat Center will lead us into an awareness of the Sultan who exists both inside and outside of us all. Br. Julius will share his insights as to how we can embrace ourselves and others in a way that transforms our discipleship to Christ, in the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi.
The talk takes place Sunday, October 15th at 4:00 p.m. at the Solanus Casey Center! Join us for food and fellowship as we grow deeper in community with one another and in our Franciscan relationship with Christ.
