Father Solanus leaves St. Francis de Sales Seminary in Milwaukee.

December 24, 1896

Father Solanus arrives at St. Bonaventure Monastery in Detroit and joins the Capuchins as a novice

January 14, 1897

Invested as Capuchin Novice Francis Solanus

July 21, 1898

Father Solanus professes his first vows as a Capuchin Franciscan friar

July 1898

Immediately after professing his vows, Solanus takes the train to Milwaukee to begin his preistly formation at St. Francis of Assisi Monastery

July 1901

Solanus professes his solemn vows as a Capuchin Franciscan friar to live in poverty, chastity and obedience

December 8, 1903

On the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, Father Solanus is ordained a subdeacon at St. Francis de Sales Seminary Chapel in Milwaukee.

July 24, 1904

Ordained as Priest, St. Francis of Assisi Church in Milwaukee

August 4, 1904

His first assignment at Sacred Heart Friary in Yonkers, New York

July 1918

Transferred to Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, New York City
