Feast Day Mass

Join us for this year’s Novena and Feast Day for Blessed Solanus Casey, holy and beloved Capuchin priest, on the road to sainthood in the Catholic Church. Our nine-day Novena will begin on July 22 and culminate with the Feast of Solanus Casey on July 30.

Holy Mass will be celebrated each day of the Novena with special prayers in St. Bonaventure Chapel at 7:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon on weekdays of the novena, and at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 27 and with three Masses on the Feast Day: 7:30 a.m., 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m.

The theme of this year’s Novena is “Rejoice and Be Glad: Yours is the Kingdom of God” with the focus for each day on one of the eight beatitudes and the ninth day celebrating the Feast Day.

Tuesday, July 22 | 12:00 p.m. Mass
Theme: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Wednesday, July 23 | 12:00 p.m. Mass
Theme: “Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

Thursday, July 24 | 12:00 p.m. Mass
Theme: “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.”

Friday, July 25 | 12:00 p.m. Mass
Theme: “Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.”

Saturday, July 26 | 12:00 p.m. Mass
Theme: “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.”

Sunday, July 27 | 9:00 a.m. Mass
Theme: “Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God.”

Monday, July 28 | 12:00 p.m. Mass
Theme: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”

Tuesday, July 29 | 12:00 p.m. Mass
Theme: “Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
