Mark and Julie’s Story

Mark was diagnosed with cancer. He underwent two surgeries. The second one required the surgeons to work across his reproductive system to remove further cancer, which they detected in the course of the operation. This meant that he and his wife Julie would no longer be able to have children. A friend told them about Fr. Solanus, which led Mark and Julie began to pray for his intercession, placing a relic badge on top of Mark’s dresser. A year and a half later, Mark and Julie discovered to their surprise that Julie was pregnant again. They gave birth to a strong and healthy son who is now married to a wonderful woman. Mark and Julie have two grandsons and a newly-arrived granddaughter. Mark has been cancer free for 32 years and in very good health. This is one of many stories this family treasures about the power of Fr. Solanus’ intercession in their lives. “Blessed be God in All His Designs.”
